Mount Atlas’s bubbling sound of the Hammond organ, their rough guitar riffs as well as the floating melodies will bring you back to the 70s and 80s. At the same time, they manage to maintain their individual sonority. They alternate between spherical sounds and heavy doom riffs, which sound as if played whilst wearing equally heavy leather jackets. Although the band was only recently founded (2016), they have already achieved successes, such as being featured on Rock Hard’s sampler “Lauschangriff #54”, interviews and reviews in all of the renowned German-speaking rock and metalmagazines, radio interviews, gigs all over Germany supporting, among others, The Weight, Dead Lord and The New Roses. Their first record “Titan” hasbeen leaving its marks on the international rock and metal scenes since April 2017.
